PRIVACY POLICY

This page explains what data may be used when you visit CritAtlas. It also explains the choices you have.

Last updated: August 27, 2026

SCOPE OF THIS POLICY

CritAtlas is an independent game-guide website at critatlas.com. The site has no user accounts and does not take payments. It does not ask for your name, address or payment details. This policy covers pages run by CritAtlas. Other websites have their own rules.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

The web host may process basic technical data when you open a page. This helps deliver the site and keep it secure. The data may include your IP address, browser, device, page URL, time, referring page and error logs. CritAtlas does not use this data to identify you.

LOCAL DEVICE STORAGE

Some features save choices in your browser. These choices may include favorite characters and recent guides. The data normally stays on your device. You can remove it by clearing site data or local storage. Those features may stop working if storage is blocked.

GOOGLE ADSENSE, COOKIES AND IDENTIFIERS

CritAtlas uses Google AdSense to prepare and show ads after approval. Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or similar IDs. They use this data to show, measure and secure ads. Ads may be personal or non-personal based on your location and choices.

Information about how Google processes data when its services are used on partner sites is available on Google's How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services page. Visitors can also manage advertising preferences through Google My Ad Center.

CONSENT CHOICES

Where the law requires it, CritAtlas shows a Google-approved consent message. This includes visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. You can accept, reject or manage the listed options. You can also clear cookies in your browser. Doing so may reset choices you saved before.

DATA SHARING AND RETENTION

CritAtlas does not sell personal data. Service providers may handle technical data to host, protect or run the site. Ad services may also process data. Each provider sets its own storage period under its policy and the law. Favorites and recent guides stay on your device until you remove them.

YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Your local law may give you rights over your data. These may include access, correction, deletion or an objection to its use. You may also withdraw consent. Send questions through the CritAtlas contact page. Google provides its own privacy and ad controls.

EXTERNAL LINKS

Some guides link to official game websites, community resources or other third-party services. CritAtlas does not control those websites, their cookies or their data practices. Visitors should review the privacy notice of any external service they choose to use.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

This policy may be updated when CritAtlas changes its features, hosting, advertising or legal obligations. Material revisions will be reflected by the updated date displayed at the top of this page.
