Central spine
Reserve one straight corridor for shared intermediate materials.
Reusable layout patterns designed around expansion, readable transport lines and easy bottleneck replacement.
A compact early-game block. Mirror the processor side when demand increases instead of extending one long belt.
Reserve one straight corridor for shared intermediate materials.
Connect independent production cells perpendicular to the central route.
Collect finished products at the edge so expansion never blocks access.
A useful blueprint has a clear input, a measurable output and enough space to expand the stage that limits production. Test the line under continuous demand before saving it, because a layout that works with full storage may fail once buffers empty. Keep transport paths readable, avoid unnecessary crossings and reserve a maintenance route around power and storage.
Name each saved blueprint after its product and expected rate. When a later recipe changes the required ratio, duplicate the design and modify the copy instead of destroying a proven layout. Small modular blocks are easier to reuse than one enormous factory and allow new players to improve production without rebuilding the entire AIC network.
