Correct main stats, Speed order and useful substats often matter more than forcing a complete set with weak pieces.

Check every activation requirement. Speed, Effect Hit Rate and other thresholds must be reached in combat, not merely displayed outside battle.
Test promising pieces in stages. Stop investing when early rolls repeatedly miss the stats the character needs and redirect resources to another candidate.
Open a character guide to see recommended main stats, Planar pairing and practical alternatives. Build one usable set before chasing perfect rolls. Keep flexible two-piece combinations for characters who share similar stats. Lock rare pieces with Speed, CRIT, Break Effect or Effect Hit Rate until you confirm that no current build needs them. When two pieces are close, test the complete combat Speed and buff state. A weaker sheet can perform better when it preserves the intended action order or reaches an in-battle threshold.
